Version 2.01f/202f fixes a serious problem
with Source Mode auto zero control. This is a
mandatory update. When the AK20a is in TC or mV Source mode,
the auto zero value can become corrupted. This can cause the output to
have a significant offset error for approximately 25 seconds (until
the next auto zero executes).
Version 2.01 adds a
Configuration Locking
feature so that the end user can prevent individual configuration items
from inadvertent change. See the User
Guide for a description of this feature. Version 2.01b/c updated some
factory information and is functionally equivalent.
Version 2.02 adds an
Enhanced Step Mode
feature. Version 2.02e updates the Nickel-Molybdenum thermocouple to
ASTM E1751-00.
Standard
Step Mode function allows the user to specify any number (up to 100)
of equally spaced steps (calibration points) between 2 user specified
points. This is usually the ideal configuration since it is common to test
an instrument at 3, 5, or 11 equally spaced points within the operating
range of the instrument. In some cases, local procedures or agency
regulations require that instruments be tested at certain arbitrary
points.
Enhanced
Step Mode allows the user to specify up to 10 individual step values
and recall these values quickly using a simple key sequence.
